How I attempted to get Pearl Jam to play Black in Auckland, New Zealand

It started with this - a simple and crude drawing of me, begging for Black and the ultimate outcome - a puddle.




These were posted on the Pearl Jam message board. I know what you're thinking...

"Lisa, cmon, they're not going to see those!" but they have admitted to reading or at least being privy to the request threads on the message board, so it's not a completely hopeless thought.





Each band member got their own cartoon...











Mr Snuggleton is introduced. He's like... a celebrity and junk.







People actually seemed to begin to care about Auckland getting Black...and the cartoons took on a life of their own (plus I remembered how to use Photoshop!)..











People started to offer suggestions...













Stone Gossard was quoted in Rolling Stone as saying they think "Fuck You we're not playing that!" when they see request threads..











This was a blatant attempt to get the attention of the message board moderator..











Time will tell if this works.
