First thing's first. Ladies. Gents. Meet Clementine.
She is new in the office. Unfortunately for Clem and her admirers, time is not her friend and beauty is fleeting. Her good looks (I like to think she resembles Jennifer Ward-Lealand...) will fade into shrivelled obscurity like Donatella Versace's breasts. Or Yaya's career. ...

I went to see The Devil and Daniel Johnston last night at the Film Festival. Caps. He had his crazy fingers in many pies. A talented artist for sure. You can hear elements of his song style in earlier Bright Eyes songs definately, and Wayne Coyne could have been a couple of tabs away from taking that road himself. Long story short, he is a bit of a tragic mess. However, the story reads more like a triumph. Tears aside, he produced some kickass artwork and even wrote a song that I've had since 7th form (Pearl Jam cover) and never made the connection.
Lucky stars in your eyes, I'm walking the cow.
Definately worth seeing if you can. A mad genius, who's madness was in danger of overshadowing everything else. And hey, Kurt Cobain liked him.
Then again, Kurt Cobain also married Courtney Love. Yeeech.
Tomorrow night is the Finns and Phoenix Foundation. Bonus.

Ok. So, the original ratpony content has increase ten-fold. I've added stuff written by Kam (co-creator) about the individual songs... so very very different from my waffling outbursts... annnnnd general crap from the site that doesn't necessarily concern music. They're mainly just angry, b-b-b-bitter rants.

Well, it's been an interesting month. Not interesting in a good way. More in a "Shame... cried at work today" kinda way. Sissy.
On the bright side, I did get into Dracula free. I did buy a new Pearl Jam DVD which I haven't seen. Plus a couple of shirts. Ohhh it's a Pearl Jam renaissance!
Gigantic bonus came in the form of meeting Joanna, Jimmy and Joel at Jessie's old flat. How was that for name dropping?
Interpol is creeping up, as is the Finn Brothers gig.
I'm updating for the sake of it. Can you tell? Also... a further picture is nearing completion. Should be about another week or so.
